I like the concept of your ammo also serving as health, and the fact that enemies are functional .I also like the idea of different movement options beyond the WASD controls.
Aiming is good, and being able to pick up new weapons works well. While obviously, the game needs some walk animations, what I'd want to see *first* are hit animations and effects - stuff that shows that you've been hit by enemies (other than just your health bar decreasing) and that you're successfully hitting enemies (other than them just disappearing).
It's weird, but you know you'll be able to do walk animations eventually - but hit animations change how a game *feels* so dramatically that putting them in early is really worth the time. It shows the player that what they're doing is working (or what they should avoid!).
Jump feels a little floaty, but that's just a matter of taste, and could be "right" if the character had a little jetpack or boots or something.
A strength of this game is the inventory system. I like how easy it is to switch places in the inventory and use a different weapon and it's working right now. A point of friction is that it starts out hard right away and I die a lot right at the beginning. I wonder if you could make the very beginning easier until a player gets the controls down, then ramp up the difficulty. Maybe it will get easier to live once you dial in the movement and player speed. It feels really fast. You could improve this Itch page by adding a header and making it REALLY CLEAR what is the game name and what is the studio name.
I like the arms and the player model. When I move the player it is translation and no the animation and When the enemy come to the face the player will be spring back I thing you can add the animation for the player and make the enemy better.
I found this a very interesting game. I love the graphic, the weapons, the avatar I even love the beam it shoots out, however there are some several issues occur during the game.
Bugs
The "C" Input Spam accelerate the speed of the player.
The laser/gun is not emitting from release but the middle of the character.
Even upon hit on the enemy it doesn't do anything from time to time. And I'm not sure if the ammo is a life force, but as I shoot I lose health and when the bar turns ZERO then I just automatically spawn back to the spawn-point.
When the enemy is pushing or boxed me against the wall I can't escape.
When the enemy is in a lower y axis than me, then it is stuck 1 block down and it doesn't go up to catch me.
Web Design:
(Opinion) You should separate the control, and the description about the game for a direct read.
i like the character and the weapons. when the enemy push the character to the wall, the character get stuck at the wall. i think your enemies are not only meant to damage characters, but also to be used as speed boosts or super jumps (like bounce blocks) to increase the challenge and fun.
The gameplay is simple and the concept is quite good, but I think the character could be zoomed in a bit; I can't quite see how he moves, which is a bit disappointing. I think adding more of a story might make it more interesting.
I like how simple the game is. One point of friction is I'm confused on how I died since I didn't take damage from the enemies. One thing I would add to the itch page is more of a storyline.
One strength is how you'r ammo is you'r health so you have to be careful. A point of friction is the enemy don't die after the first one dies. you can improve your itch page by giving more direction.
The art work is nice but a friction I had is pressing the space bar as jump instead of W and a improvement on your itch page is side line decorations and main page art
One strength of this game is that the map and character design look so well thought out. A few points of friction I have encountered are that I couldn't get the game to full screen, and the character is stuck at the corner left of spawn, unable to move up on the map to escape the enemy's spawn camping. One thing you can do to improve your Itch page is to write accurate control keys, as they don't work properly.
I like the game shooting and walking mechanics and when you use the laser .One friction is the jump mechanics it could also be for w.I think to improve the itch page add story to the game.
I like the weapons in this game, i think that is a strength. But one friction i have is that W isnt to jump, i think space and w should be able to jump. I'd like to see more of some lore in the decription, maybe it's origin story or the purpose of why they are there
A strength is that the laser animation was cool. A point of friction I encountered was that there was actually a part missing and I'm not too sure how I could get through that. Something you can improve on your Itch page was added the background story(if there is one).
A strenght i find in this game is how cool the gun and robots look the design reminds me of this roblox game i used to play.A point of friction i have for this game is probably the character dying when i run out of ammo.I would improve the itch page by adding details about their game and controls.
I like the game where you could use weapons and it works well as I expected and functions properly. There is one thing you could improve is by adding a bullet trail when firing a gun so, the player would know you are shooting at it and detects if you missed or not. One thing I would like the page to improve is adding like a lore that hooks us up why the enemies are stopping us from reaching to the next level. Overall good progress and I look forward to see improvements.
A strength I would say this game has is the movement is very cool and there is a slide which I find very cool. A friction I have for this game the mobs have very basic movement, only going forward. A improvement I have for the page is adding a name.
This game is fun and has alot of potential! I ran into some things, but that is to be expected for now.
Mechanical Issues I ran into:
The health and bullets are the same bar, which I think has the potential to be a really fun mechanic, but I think you should lower the bullet:health consumption rate, increase the player's HP, or increase how much HP killing enemies restores.
The bullets are hard to see, but that will probably be fixed when the art is updated.
You can infinitely slide/bug the speed with the slide button between the enemies or if they all die, and if you let the enemy push you against the wall in the beginning, it doesn't do damage.
i love the fact it get to use weapons on the game and move onto next levels and i love the movement is good but i the oppnents move to fast and when you run out of ammo you die quick and i think may be the only problems.
The game is very well rounded and I like the movement. I like how you can glide when you jump off of the top of the structure. I was confused on how to use the lazar gun though. Once I collected it and tried using it, it was releasing a blast at the enemies, but the enemies weren't being eliminated. I would also work on the cover art for the game, I think you have a solid game, but the cover art would cause a lot of people to just scroll past.
The game is very well rounded and I like the guns and their mechanics. Also cool that the health is also your ammo bar which is unique. Some improvements are a bigger level and more diverse enemies. It would be better to add more description of the game and what the goal is for killing these mobs.
The mechanic of the game is pretty clear. I enjoy using the gun and killing enemies. So far, there are no animations in the character. When I'm using the control WASD, I was expecting to click W to jump but instead it was the space button. I would like to see a better storyline and layout for the Itch page.
I like the guns and the enemies and how the game was built, but the gravity is kind of bugged, sometimes I fall fast sometimes I fall slow. The sliding part sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.
the movment is kinda janky and if you get stuck in the corner by the enemy your stuck and die. also, shooting tied to health is confusing and how to get it back is unclear

I like the Idea and the different movement besides WASD. One problem is when you don't move at the start, you get stuck.
